Silvia believes that continuous academic learning and professional training are some of the key prerequisites of an effective coach. Combining the scientific and practical is a key strength of Silvia.
Sound professional coaching practice should build on a thorough understanding of the underlying coaching and positive psychology science as well as particular fields and industries. Her MA/lic.oec.publ. from the University of Zurich equipped Silvia with a thorough grounding in management, economic and financial theory. Her MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London (MAPPCP) provided her with a thorough grounding in coaching and positive psychology. This is recognised by her status as graduate member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS).
Coaching is an applied science. Thus, complementary professional qualifications and ongoing skill development are essential to Silvia’s practice.
